Selena Gomez is currently in a Tennessee treatment facility where she’s recovering from anxiety, panic attacks and depression.
Sources say the pop star, 24, has been recovering at a treatment facility since announcing on August 30 that she was taking a break to manage “anxiety, panic attacks and depression.”
The ‘Kill em with kindness’ singer also cancelled 34 remaining dates on her Revival world tour as a result.
“Selena is dealing with lupus, but this break is to focus on her mental health. She can go to a very dark place,” a source close to the pop star tells Us Weekly.
Selena has also stopped working on a new music. “She was supposed to be recording, but she hasn’t told anyone when she’ll be back in studio,” a source revealed.
With her 89.2 million followers on Instagram, Gomez is currently the celebrity with the highest number of followers on the social media platform.
