SHOCKING NEWS : Ghana drops Sumalia

Kewsi Appiah has dropped Kotoko defender Rashid Sumalia from his final 23-man list for the African Cup Nations which will kick-start on the 19th of the month.

The player was the only one to be axed, as the coach had until midnight to present a maximum of 23 players to the Confederation of African Football.

After the last training session on Wednesday, the players went to the team hotel, following which the technical team made the decision over dinner at their Viceroy Hotel.

Shocking to most Ghananians, among the list of 23, are ten first timers to the tournament.
