Imo State - UPDATE: Governor Rochas Okorocha reshuffles cabinet #IMSG

In a bid to enhance service delivery and keep the rescue mission train on track, His Excellency, Owelle Rochas Okorocha  has  approved a minor reshuffle of his cabinet. While some Commissioners swapped positions, others were assigned to head merged ministries. In a statement signed by the Commissioner for Information, Mr.Chinedu Offor, the following changes were made: Mr.Nick Opara-Ndudu,the former Commissioner for Econmic Planning, Mr Nick Opara Ndudu is now the commissioner for Works and Transport.  The Ministry of Works was formerly headed by the Deputy Governor, Jude Agbaso. Hon. Uche Nwosu is now the Commissioner for Lands and Housing. Barrister [Mrs.] Ugochi Nnanna-Okoro, former commissioner for Culture and Tourism is now the Commissioner for Community Government. Mr.Chinedu Offor  will also head the Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism. Professor Chima Iwuchukwu who previously served as Commissioner for Community Government is now the Commissioner for Planning. Dr. Iheanyi Nwachukwu former Commissioner for Special Duties will step up to head the Ministry of  Public Utilities, Public Safety and Youth Empowerment. Prince Charles Onuoha who served as the Commissioner for Housing will replace Dr. Nwachukwu as the new Commissioner for Special Duties. Governor Okorocha has also approved the appointment of former Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Ichie Best Mbanaso as the new Deputy Chief of Staff. He will also oversee the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
