Two Cameroonian referees officiating at the ongoing U20 World Cup in Turkey have been asked to go home after Fifa emergency committee pronounced a temporary suspension on Cameroon on Thursday.
.
International referees Alioum Sidi and Evarist Mekouande were withdrawn from the upcoming schedule of the quarterfinals of the competition set to kick off on Saturday July 6.
.
Fifa suspended the central African country from all competitions with immediate effect as a result of government interference in the football body (Fecafoot) activities.
.
"During the period of suspension, Fecafoot may not be represented in any regional, continental or international competitions, including at club level, or in friendly matches.
.
"In addition, neither Fecafoot nor any of its members or officials may benefit from any Fifa or CAF development programmes, courses or training during the suspension period," Fifa said in a statement.

I don't think they can produce dope referees from that country because even their football is not doing well right about now.
