QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
i. PROFESSOR CONUASS 07
Candidates for this position must possess the Ph. D. degree in the relevant fields with a minimum of 10 years post-doctoral cognate teaching, research and administrative experience in a recognized University. They must have a reasonable number of significant scholarly publications in reputable national and international outlets, and also show evidence of significant number of research direction or supervision at the post graduate, especially doctoral level.
ii. ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR 06
As in (i) above but with eight years of cognate experience
iii. SENIOR LECTURER CONUASS 06
Candidates for this position must possess the Ph.D degree with six years post-doctoral cognate teaching and research experience. They must also have a reasonable number of publications in national and international outlets. In addition, they must show evidence of research direction or supervision at the post-graduate, especially Masters level.
iv. LECTURER 1 CONUASS 04
Candidates for this position must possess post Graduate qualification, preferably a Ph. D. Degree in the relevant fields. Candidates must show evidence of continuing research and publications in the relevant fields over a period of time not less than eight years if the candidate has not already obtained a PhD Degree.
v. LECTURER II CONUASS 03
Same as in (iii) but with experience not less than five years in lieu of PhD Degree in the relevant fields.
vi. ASSISTANT LECTURERS CONUASS 02
Candidates must possess the Master Degree or a Bachelor's Degree not below second class upper in the relevant fields. They must also show strong evidence of potentials for an academic career.

SPECIAL NOTICE
Computer literacy is required for all positions. Applicants for academic positions in the fields of Accounting, Banking and Finance, Business and Entrepreneurship Studies, Tourism and Hospitality Management must possess the Master Degree and be registered with the professional bodies in the relevant fields.
