Surprise they say, could be the best way to a lady's heart. When you love some one dearly, surprises could be the best way to achieve a long lasting relationship.

What a stunning way to propose to a lady, and at the same time get married on the same day.

The Marriage was labelled the best marriage ever to hold in California, US.

Amazing! This must be a movie. How could he has planned it that big without the girl's knowledge...

Hard to say, if it is a movie or real. The emotions were so real.

However, Americans are good at making fiction look like non-fiction. Anyway, if it is real, best wishes to the couple.

The point is, surprises can go a long way to strengthening a relationship!

To my best of knowledge, the relationship is real, and the wedding proposal was real.

The movie producer/director used the couple to showcase a glamorous way of proposing to a lady. The man (bridegroom) was fully aware of the plan, but the lady (bride), was left in the dark, about the plan.

It was meant to be surprise for her.

Good plan, l must say!

The best proposal that I've heard of actually happening was one that involved quite a bit of planning, so be forewarned. The guy took his girlfriend out for a walk along the beach – this could be done in any open, public space, though. She didn't know, but he had talked to a local musician that they both knew of and liked and hired him to play there that day. He had made sure that his girlfriend had a camera with her, so when they came up to the guy, he reminded her to get her camera out and take a picture. While she was occupied with doing that, he got down on one knee beside her and proposed. The best part is, he had all their friends at the beach, too, but to where she wouldn't see them at first. Then, he yelled out, "She said yes!" and they all came running up to them. It made for a great story and nice celebration right there on the beach, music and all. :o)

@ summa2020, Referring to the words you used in your reply to my post "a bit of planning, so be forewarned", how can you think that the marriage proposal and wedding on the same day, was not planned. How can someone put up such magnitude of event and not plan it beforehand.

Mind you, people do things in different ways. To some, they pref-are to do things in a big way, while others do things in a simple way.

Back to the story you narrated, that's the best way the man feels good to propose to his partner.

Putting up a big event like this would cost a fortune. Thanks to the sponsors that financed and supported the event.
