ONLY IF VOCABULARY COULD RAISE THE DEAD...

The current Vice Chancellor of the University of Lagos Professor Adetokunbo Babatunde Sofoluwe passed away this morning, Saturday, May 12, 2012 at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital.

Prof. Sofoluwe was appointed the 10th Vice-Chancellor of the University of Lagos in 2010.

May his soul rest in peace!

Peep what our dear Patrick Obahiagbon had to say before his 'veritable verification of the verity of the VC's death and after he 'verily verified the verify' : )

(Tweets gotten from his Twitter page)

Any veritable verification of Prof Sofoluwe rumoured demise? I am in a state of metagrabolised melancholia.

Prof Sofoluwe's passing is mere ephemeral recumbent hibernation, an empyrean paradisiac rendezvous lies ahead. Heaven is the terminus.

I condole with the UNILAG community on the recumb in quietus of the VC, Prof Sofoluwe. The clerisy has lost a solitaire.
