Update On JAMB 2013/2014 Examination .
The Latest update reaching us from the Internal officials of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, (JAMB), on Wednesday 24th October 2012, concluded centres inspection ahead of the 2013/2014 JAMB-UTME.
With the inspection complete, JAMB registration for 2013 is expected to start from next month November 2012.
According to the report, there will be one, two, or more E-Examination centre(s) in eachstate of the Federation for candidates that may prefer Computer Based Test (CBT) as proposed by JAMB, against the conventional Pencil and Paper Test (PPT) and DBT, to know about the difference between the three options, i.e. PPT, CBT and DBT, JAMB Introduced Computer Based Test (CBt), PPT and DBT in The 2013/2014 UTME? .
It is reported that JAMB may be registering over 1.8 million candidates for the JAMB 2013 considering the following facts;
1. Less than 30% of the 1,503,931 candidates who sat for the jamb examination in 2012 have been admitted. (massive failed!)
2. A total of 1,672,224 candidates wrote SSCE(figures from WAEC alone) in 2012.
Considering this facts, it is adviceable that candidates should read and get prepared for the examination.
