NGGTour: Zamfara Gov., Yari Abubakar completes inherited Sharia Court project.

DSC_0003                        The Governor Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar administration in Zamfara State has completed a modern Sharia Court Complex in Gusau the State Capital which it says is part of its effort to complement the Transformation Agenda of the Federal Government for the Justice System.

Commissioner for Justice and Attorney General, Zamfara State, Barr. Garba Gajam Muhammad who briefed members of the National Good Governance Tour on Sunday at the Court Complex said it was a project inherited from the previous administration.

Barr. Muhammad told the Team that the Sharia Court Complex has its courtrooms, galleries and administrative offices fully furnished.

Also domiciled in the Complex is the Office of the Grand Kadi as well as the Chambers of the Honourable Kadis.

He said the complex which is to be commissioned in commemoration of the Governor Yari-Administration's second year in office cost the State Government 1.5 billion naira.

"This edifice was put up because the governor is interested in the justice system.

"I will assure you today in Nigeria as a whole this is the best Sharia Court Complex, the Zamfara State Attorney General stated.
