Scam Alert: Nigeria Customs Service Jobs Recruitment 2011

"Rumour itself seems to travel faster than the speed of light" That is the case of recent job advertisement proclaiming that Nigeria Custom Service is recruiting.

At every point in time, most of the advertisements posted on The InfoStride are verified so that we don't them in spreading wrong information across the board. One of our moderators alerted that this vacancy is scam. We digged dip and have our findings for your judgement. We know, there is no harm intrying but be careful of any job recruiting that may later result to payment.

1. The file contain last vacancies at Nigeran Custom Service (NCS).

2. In the file, it is stated that the only genuine website to apply for custom jobs in Nigeria is www.customs.gov.ng, which is the official custom website.

3. The deadline stated in the attachment is 31st December, 2010. As seen below:


4. The onging recruitment campaign is announced at customsrecruit.com.ng through the attachement at http://customsrecruit.com.ng/vacancy.pdf and application link at http://customsrecruit.com.ng/applicationform-store.asp

5. The homepage of the website for the campaign is still under construction as at the time of this post. Visit homepage at http://customsrecruit.com.ng for your knowledge and see the screenshot below:


6. While the homepage is under construction or maintenance, all other pages for the compaign are alive. I know that after you submit your application, the next is be sending you emails for payment.

Nigerians! Wise up!! Don't allow yourself to be defrauded directly or indirectly in the of "Almighty Unemployment"
