This was noted on the Facabook wall of President Goodluck Jonathan. It stated that Nigeria is now number 2 top investment destination in Africa. Wonderful! Please read more:

It is very heartening to me that Nigeria has been declared one of the top three investment destinations of choice in Africa (number 2) by the independent Africa Business Panel in The Netherlands. This is an affirmation of our efforts at reforming the economy which has born fruit in that inflation in Nigeria has receded to 10.2% while our GDP growth holds firm at over 6.%. But I am not resting on my oars.  I give you my word that I will not rest until Nigeria's youths have jobs, access to qualitative education and the best health care within available resources.  As I said in my inaugural speech, with God's help, I will never, never let you down.

It goes to show that Nigeria is still an untapped region for investment. What Nigeria needs is, a peaceful and friendly atmosphere to attract local and foreign investors.

Furthermore, as a Nigerian, l hope President Goodluck Jonathan would live up to his promises.
