It’s Rihanna’s worst nightmare: Drake and Chris Brown appear to have become friends again.
A little more than a month after they buried their long-standing feud by performing together, the two musical artists are now sending each other clothing.
On Wednesday, Brown, 29, posted a pic to Instagram of a gift he’d received from the Canadian rapper: an OVO varsity jacket.
“@champagnepapi thanks for lacing me I GOT THAT🔥,” he captioned a pic of the tan jacket. He also promised to send Drake, 32, an item from his Black Pyramid clothing line, which features streetwear with designs some might say are heavily inspired by British skateboard brand Palace and popular anime cartoons.
The $298 gift is the latest sign of just how much the once-icy relationship between the two musical artists has thawed. In mid-October, Drake invited Brown out on stage during one of the Los Angeles dates of the Aubrey & The Three Amigos Tour.
The budding bromance is a bizarre twist to anyone who’s paid attention to the rapper and singer’s relationship for much of the decade. Connected by a shared unrequited love of Rihanna, 30, the two have spent the majority of the last six years at odds.
While Drake has only ever been “linked” to Rihanna, Brown actually dated her for a year. The couple broke up in 2009 after he physically assaulted her following a pre-Grammy party, something her fans have made clear they will never forget.
