Muslims Should Pray To God To Help Nigeria Amid The Pandemic – Amosun

Ibikunle AmosunFormer Governor of Ogun, Senator Ibikunle Amosun has come out to beg Islamic faithful to use the occasion of this year’s Eid-el Kabir to offer prayers to God for the restoration of peace to Nigeria.

The Senator representing Ogun Central Senatorial District revealed this in a recent Sallah message.

According to him, Muslims must remain patient and continue to cooperate with the government at all levels, so that the pandemic can be less challenging.

He added that citizens must learn to adopt a “New Normal” as a way of life because everyone must participate in the fight against the pandemic and other challenges threatening our human existence.

His words, “We need to live and abide by all the guidelines and protocols already issued by the Nigerian government through the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), as part of the new normal approach.”
