Well articulated. As rightly said, democracy is a game of number. No region should politically sit idly and expect other parts of the country to hand over the presidency of the country to them. They must abandon their rebellious tendencies and work with other Nigerians to achieve their aims and aspirations. The presidency can only be achieved through constructive dialogue and well articulated strategies not insults.

This piece from Dr Dele Momodu if it can be adopted as a script by our leaders along with whatever scripts they have will be a useful tool for our restructuring. He doesn’t deserve those insults as some have done in their write up , it’s is opinion and must be respected for saying his mind out in writing. everything in life that must be achieved involves some form of strategies so is politics. The north who claim that the are born to rule will always use ” divide and rule strategy” to achieve that. To me, his write up is the first of its kind so far that make sense compared to the ones i’ve been reading from others about Nigeria’s restructuring.

A write-up inundated with hollow reasoning and contradictions, but nonetheless reveals the writer’s mindset of LOVE-TO-HATE against a given section of the country. If to win the Presidency simply requires the revving up of support accross the zones why then accept “THEY sought and found a perfect ally to drop the mandate on.” Who are these THEY that exercises the prerogative of gifting power to a choosen? What instrument of Authourity made this possible? Why are a few in the country resisting almost violently any attempt to tinker with the status-quo?
