Inter Milan manager, Antonio Conte has come out to say that he plans to use Christian Eriksen in a deeper role soon. e recently revealed that he wants to get the best out of his squad, and it is possible that we might see Eriksen playing behind Brozovic in the coming weeks.
According to him, he will do all he can to ensure Christian thrives in that position, and he surely has what it takes.
He added that it is great for the team and himself to be able to use players in different roles in the midfield.
His words, “We must get the best out of our squad,”
“It is inevitable to have him [Eriksen] behind Brozo [Brozovic] because we do not have this kind of player in the squad who can be a playmaker in front of the defensive line.
“We are trying to get the best of Christian in that position, even if he played both as an attacking and an inside midfielder already.
“It is good for the team and myself having the opportunity to use him in different roles in the midfield.”
