Primary Skills: Minimum of 15 years relevant experience, of which at least 5 in a similar position.

Job Specification:

• Guide the fluids and waste management team in planning and supporting the safe and

efficient delivery of development, exploration and appraisal wells in water-depths up

to 700ft, offshore Nigeria and on land.

• You shall be expected to undertake the following duties:

o High pressure / slim margin drilling methods,

o High angle / ERD,

o Skip and ship operations for land and JUR operations

o 3rd party staff, service and equipment quality,

o Complex supply chain and logistics.

o Interaction with other departments and service contractors

• Lagos based, 28 / 28 rotation

Experience:

• A limit of 15 years pertinent experience, of which at least 5 in a equivalent position.

• Broad experience involving semi's, onshore and jack-up operations required.

• Prior Nigerian / West African experience is advantageous.

Other Requirements:

• Strong HSE leadership.

• Motivate continuous performance improvement.

• Interpersonal and communication skills, capable of leading effectively in a multicultural

society.

• Team leadership adeptness

• Wide-ranging waste management experience, in particularly on JUR operations

• Comfortable working under constant high workload and meet fixed deadlines

• Proficiency with spreadsheets, word processors and presentation software.

• Project management aptitude

• Exceptional knowledge of fluids engineering and international industry standards,

ideally obtained while working for a large international operator.

• Contracts and contractor management.

Education: Technical / engineering qualification required.

Remuneration:

•   Competitive day rate, paid overseas by first week of following month, net of Nigerian

•   Income Tax.

•   Travel days paid.

Duration: 12 months, renewable based on performance.
