Main purpose of the job: To provide support for the Head, Information Technology in actualising the department's strategy.

Key responsibilities:

•   Preparation of monthly reports and analytics to drive department efficiency

•   Preparation and tracking of department budget and financial forecasting for the Department

•   To co-ordinate and track key deliverables for the Head of Information Technology from management and board committee meetings.

•   To drive projects / initiatives that will enhance the Department's effectiveness.

•   Act as secretary to IT Strategic committee meetings and work with stakeholders to "project manage" agreed actions arising from management meetings

•   Tracking weekly deliverables of units within IT.

•   Propose ideas for the execution of Information Technology strategy and develop strategy documents for Information Technology management team in this regard.

•   Track the implementation of Information Technology Department strategy.

•   Handle IT specific projects as assigned.

•   Keep and maintain adequate records of all business performance management data.

•   Develop an activity schedule for all on-going Information Technology projects, track performance and provide periodic reports on progress of the projects.

•   Foster communication between Country IT department and Centre IT teams.

•   Any other activity as assigned by the Head of Information Technology

Key performance measures:

•   Accuracy of reports/analytics to aid decision making

•   Timely resolution to problems, queries

•   Well organized and accessible information from folders and databases

•   Quality of presentation slides

•   Timely submission of deliverables with minimal errors

Key dimensions of the job:

•   Supports Head, Information Technology and other IT units.

•   Ensure accuracy of reports and timely conclusion of assigned projects / tasks.
