MTN Nigeria is currently recruiting for the following position:

Job Title: IP Planning Engineer
Department: Network Group
Location: Lagos

Job Description:    
•         IP transport / transmission planning
-        Design, and plan MTNN's IP network (LAN/WAN infrastructure design)
-        Map out IP service connectivity
•         Develop plans for Data carrier services and solutions
-        Develop new innovations for using VoIP as alternative telecommunications strategy and reduce cost on existing infrastructure
-        Develop services and solutions that can be offered to third party
-        Develop connectivity solutions for roaming to maximize revenue for MTNN while reducing cost
-        Plan service provisions and bandwidth sale to third party clients to provide them enterprise connectivity
-        Plan and develop VoIP for the organization's mobile telephony traffic
•         Network Security
-        Interpret security policies for design and implementation of IP services.
Develop mechanisms for mitigating security risks on new and existing innovations.

Job Conditions: General MTNN working conditions Extra working hours may be required.

Reporting To:   IP Planning, Team Lead

Required Skills:   
•  4 years work experience comprising:
•  3 years experience in a similar role in an ICT environment
•  Experience with GSM, TDMA, CDMA networks will be an added advantage

Employment Status: Permanent

Qualification: Bachelors degree in Electrical / Electronic / Computer Engineering
