The level of success we achieve in life is basically tied down to the choices and decisions we make during our life time here on earth. God who created us in his own image and likeness has deposited in us all the gifts and resources we need to achieve our goals and ambitions.
It is therefore an aberration when individuals complain of their disability as a reason behind their failure in life. I personally see physical, mental or physiological disability as an opportunity to showcase the awesome power of God in every situation. It is not an opportunity to beg others for bread, but an opportunity to provide bread for those who are in need.
The Ethiopian handicap in the video below is a living witness for those who capitalize on their physical challenges and result to begging, rather than encouraging themselves and earn a living.
This food for thought also applies to those who feel their poor background will deter them from becoming great in the future.
