MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

• Establish test approach/plan for projects

• Establish acceptance criteria and schedule for test cycles (CIT, SIT, UAT)

• Establish testing team quality standards and quality assurance processes

•  Establish best practices and processes for testing team

•  Coordinate the testing efforts on key Bank Projects from Initiation through to Closure

•  Establish standards and processes for Test Analysts and other test resources to manage their areas of responsibilities

•  Influence overall technology, driving product quality, and promoting practices to improve productivity and enable quality

• Clearly communicating the unit's goals and objectives to the test team

• Resource mobilization for Projects

• Manage delivery by metrics

• Publish KPIs for Testing Projects on weekly, or milestone, basis

• Submit inputs for Weekly Status Reports for IT Exco sessions

• Participate in Weekly Test team Review Meetings

•  Coordinating Test Requirements Analysis

•  Coordinating Test Case Development / Updating

• Coordinating Test Data preparation

• Coordinating Defect Analysis & Reporting

•Ensure efficient use of HP Quality Center

Key Performance Indicators:

• Timely/Successful testing of delivered corebanking patches (customization and product)

• Development of Quality test cases for all solution

• Zero/Minimal rollback of Tested solutions.

• Effective management of defect picked during testing.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Qualification:  – Minimum of first degree or its equivalent in numerate or semi-numerate disciplines such as engineering and computer sciences. – Minimum of 2 years post qualification experience.
