Job Title: Specialist, Application Design

Job Summary: Plan, analyze and design multi-domain IT solutions to engender a world-class and extensible architecture which provides platforms for sustainable business capabilities in a fast-paced telecoms environment

Principal Functions:

•   Analyze, architect and design IT systems including enterprise IT, BSS/ OSS and related telco platforms

•   Provide internal consultancy aimed at investigating business systems, identifying options for improvement and bridging the needs of the business with the use of IT

•   Assess and evaluate the business?s strategic programmes requiring IT inputs

•   Create or contribute to the development of concise and accurate documentation of solution designs (functional and technical) for existing and newly-deployed solutions within the technology environment

•   Interface with vendors, suppliers and partners to ensure effectively optimized adoption and delivery of solutions

Educational Requirements: First degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or any other related discipline

Experience,Skills & Competencies: Between three (3) and five (5) years directly relevant post-NYSC work experience

Ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate:

•   Good understanding of telecoms business and technology models

•   Hands-on experience in User Support and Maintenance, Business Application Development and Business Application Knowledge
