University of Birmingham is offering PhD Studentship in developmental psychopathology and brain imaging in UK. UK/EU and International students can apply for the studentship begining in October 2013.. The studentship will cover home/EU tuition fees and a tax-free maintenance grant for 3 years. The successful applicant will be based in the Birmingham University Imaging Centre (BUIC) within the School of Psychology. The stipend for 2013-14 will be £13,590. Application should be submitted till 26th August 2013.

Eligibility: UK/EU Students and International Students from outside the EU can apply. Applicants would ideally have or be close to obtaining a M.Sc. in Developmental Psychopathology, Cognitive/Clinical Neuroscience, Neuroimaging, with at least a 2.1 in their first degree. However, applications from talented graduates with prior experience in brain imaging would also be considered. A high level of motivation and excellent interpersonal and organisational skills are essential. Prior experience of working with adolescents or clinical populations, and advanced statistical skills such as multi-level modelling, would be advantageous.

Scholarship Open for International Students: UK/EU and International students can apply for the Studentship.

Scholarship Description: Applications are invited for a PhD studentship to begin in October 2013. The studentship will cover home/EU tuition fees and a tax-free maintenance grant for 3 years. International Students from outside the EU may also apply, but will be liable for the difference between UK/EU and International (Overseas) tuition fees. The successful applicant will be based in the Birmingham University Imaging Centre (BUIC) within the School of Psychology, and would be supervised by Dr Stephane De Brito. The School of Psychology, ranked among the top three psychology departments for research in the UK (RAE 2008), is one of the strongest and most active psychology departments in the country.
