MSH seeks an Associate Director, Programs, for the anticipated SIDHAS (Strengthening Integrated Delivery of HIV/AIDS Services) Project. The goals of this project are to
1-provide quality HIV/AIDS services throughout Nigeria (including anti-retroviral treatments) and
2-expand the capacity of the public and private sectors to sustain these services, enhancing the quality of services at national, state, and local levels and demonstrating increased leveraging of funding from the Government of Nigeria as well as other sources.

Specific Responsibilities:
•   The Associate Director collaborates closely with the Director, Technical Support, to ensure that the SIDHAS project is effectively and efficiently implemented.
•   The Associate Director oversees the management of the zonal offices, acting as the primary point of contact with the Zonal/State Team Leaders and the project headquarters.
•   The Associate Director oversees management and harmonization of programs (including program monitoring and reporting activities).
•   He/she identifies and responds to a variety of programmatic, financial (including budgetary), administrative and logistics needs from the zones/states, collaborating with the Associate Director, Technical Support, for headquarters support from the project's Technical Advisors and ensuring that programs are coordinated both at the headquarters and zonal/state levels.

Qualifications:
1. Master's degree in public health or other relevant field.
2. Minimum of 6 years senior-level, relevant public health experience in HIV/AIDS. Demonstrated leadership and management skills; experience supervising staff.
3. Proven experience with management and monitoring of development programs in the health arena, including identifying and addressing programmatic, financial, administrative, and logistics needs. Experience with monitoring and evaluation.
4. Excellent conceptualization, facilitation, planning and mentoring skills.
5. Fluency in English.
6. Willingness to travel within Nigeria as needed.
