Job description:
• Experienced Petrophysicists required for a rapidly expanding office in Lagos, Nigeria.
• Our client are a consultancy that are aiming to cover every facet of the E&P field development life cycle, something not provided by any consultancy to date.
• They have recently won another full field development project to add to their already busy workload, and therefore need a few more Petrophysicists, Geophysicists and Geoscientists to join their existing Wells and Subsurface group.
• The successful applicants will enjoy working on a diverse array of projects, both technically and geographically, as well as be involved in the training and mentoring of more junior staff.
• These petrophysical services can vary from operation support, single well evaluations to fully integrated multi-well petrophysical studies, data room evaluations or equity re/determinations.
• As a petrophysicist you should have at least 5 years of relevant experience. A good understanding of and willingness to integrate with other subsurface disciplines is required. You should be a motivated self-starter in addition to possessing good written and verbal communication skills.
Technical skills and experience:
• Recent experience with an operator or service provider in the oil and gas industry
• Operational experience as a well-site geologist, petroleum engineer or logging engineer is desirable
• Functional understanding of reservoir characterization, geology, geophysics and/or reservoir engineering and how they relate to reservoir performance and development planning.
• Hands-on experience with a petrophysical evaluation software package is desirable.

Qualifications required:
