It's always sad when your love/gf/bf moves away. But that doesn't mean it's splitsville for you two. Why not try a long distance relationship?
1. Determine if they want to have a long distance relationship: Bring it up casually, in a conversation when you are both alone or on the phone. It won't work if they aren't willing.
2. Set up a skype account: This is the best way to stay in touch with friends and family far away. It's fairly easy too.
3. Find days where both of you can have text dates: Or for an hour every other day text/call/skype with each other, but don't make it more than twice a day. That would seem quite clingy.
4. After they are set up and situated in their new home, see if you can find a cheap ticket to where they now live for a weekend and visit them. Seeing them in person once in a while is the best way to make it work.
