Description:

We are currently looking for a Solution Architect for MPBN and Packet Core who can work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.

The Senior Solution Architect participates as a member of a sales engagement team  and participates in the delivery project. He/she identifies add on sales opportunities via a close cooperation with the customer in the delivery project.

Working as a Senior Solution Architect you are expected to work, cooperate and communicate in an international environment, both with colleagues internally as well  as customers and suppliers to Ericsson. International travel and work in different cultural environments is part of the role.

Accountabilities:

• Analyse complex customer requirements and propose technical and competence developments solutions in new areas and domains

• Provide the specified customised solutions, covering several domains and layers in the customer network.

• Drive changes in the methods, processes and guidelines within the customer organisation or internally.

• Act as a leader/mentor in day to day operations to provide insights for less experienced colleagues.

• Drive add on sales and business opportunities during the entire process in order to contribute to increased sales volumes.

• Manage teams of less experienced Solution Architect or Service Engineersn in customer projects

Qualifications:

• Degree in Engineering/ICT and minimum of 5 years work experience or more than 8 years related work experience

• Cisco (CCIE) and Juniper (JNCIS or higher) mandatory

• Ericsson experience and certificates an asset

• At least 3 years as a senior service engineer or solution architect (either Packet Core or MPBN or both) in an multinational company

• In addition to general telecommunications knowledge, working knowledge of the following is a must: IP (MPBN), Packet Core solutions, Access technologies

• At least 1 year's leadership experience, working within different cultural environments

• Fluent English
