University of Hull is offering PhD scholarships for UK/EU and international students. Scholarships are provided in areas within the research themes and some  including areas. Applicants will be expected to hold a minimum of a UK upper second class Honours degree, or equivalent, in an appropriate discipline. Full-time UK/EU PhD Scholarship will include fees at the 'home/EU' student rate and maintenance (£13,726 in 2014/15), subject to final confirmation) for three years, depending on satisfactory progress.

Study Subject(s): Scholarships are provided in the field of Maritime logistics, off shore capabilities, port security including the study of decaying and failing port cities, fisheries, the study of the littoral, the contemporary politics of the High North, issues of international piracy as well as topics in maritime history and heritage and culture.

Full-time International Fee PhD Studentships will include full fees at the International student rate for three years, dependent on satisfactory progress but no maintenance.
