Job Description:    

•Manage the end to end business analysis, systems design and development strategies to ensure optimal support for product , services and solution specifications

•Keep abreast of developments in technologies and strategies in the local and international business environment and recommend value-adding improvements to MTNN's IS, solution, product, service and development strategy

•Oversees and guide requirements analysis, design sessions and development strategies within the business—identifying and/or auditing product proposals, business requirements, existing policies and technologies

•Drive accountability with the delivery Managers towards critical milestones and deadlines

•Provide overall analysis, development and delivery leadership in the delivery of high-quality products within committed timeframes

•Act as the escalation path through the IT organization on project delivery issues

•Collaborate with Development Managers to augment project teams as necessary.

•Coordinate the development teams to ensure the right teams are working on the right build components at the right time, with clear expectations of milestones and goals.

•Manage the entire life cycle of all technical products and services and work with MTN group IT Architecture to determine replacement strategy and minimize impact on both internal external customers.

•Drive and make successful the propositions that effects seamless integration of MTNN mobile portfolio and other unified communication and non-Telco propositions.

Job Conditions: Normal MTNN working conditions

Reporting To:   GM Enterprise Services

Required Skills:   

•first degree in Computer Science, Information Technology/Systems or related field from a reputable institution

•Minimum of 12 years experience in information technology industry of which 5 years must be in a managerial capacity

•5 years project management experience and exposure to formal requirements and design and development processes.

•5 years experience in information and communication technology (ICT) preferably in the Telecommunications or a related industry

•Experience of designing and delivering service models

•Experience in Product and Commercial – B2C, B2B....

•Business orchestration at senior management level and stakeholder management

•Flair and track record of interpreting customer requirements into profitable products

•Experience of ensuring Product, Service, Platform and overall solution Design is aligned with Architecture principles, Business requirements, organisational-wide compliance/audit requirements and regulatory requirements.

•Ability to define detailed Service/Product roadmap with the business on how to maximize both fulfillment of business and customer needs & value of product/service portfolio.

•Understanding of Service/Product P&L and relate to ensuring end product delivers beyond such expectation(s).

Qualification: First degree in Computer Science, Information Technology/Systems or related field from a reputable institution
