International Training on Wetland Management funded by NFP Fellowships, Netherlands

The Netherlands Fellowship Programme (NFP) has scholarships available to attend International Training on Wetland Management.

The training aims to provide participants with the knowledge and skills necessary for curriculum development in the field of wetland management in their own region.

Within the field of wetland management the ICWM-TOT will focus on the need for transboundary and cross-sectoral co-operation, the facilitation of multi-stakeholder processes and facilitating learning within wetland management planning.

The NFP scholarship covers the following costs:
# Tuition fees
# Travel costs
# Full-board accommodation
# Health insurance
# Allowance for personal expenses

Fellowships are available to candidates from developing countries.

Fee: € 3500
Application deadlines: With NFP funding - 1 November 2010 (Please note that the deadline has been changed again by the funding agency With other funding - 20 May 2011)

Fellowships

A limited number of fellowships are available from the Netherlands Fellowship Programme
(NFP) for nationals of certain countries. NFPcandidates must first apply to Wageningen UR
Centre for Development Innovation for admission to the training. Acceptable candidates
will receive a provisional letter of acceptance from Wageningen UR Centre for Development
Innovation. Candidates can then apply for a NFP fellowship through the Netherlands
Embassy or Consulate in their own country. Applications for NFP fellowships should be
submitted to Wageningen UR Centre for Development Innovation.
