Description:

Position will be responsible for administering and optimizing an Informatica ETL environment and providing operational support.

The position will develop reliable and complex ETL processes to support maintenance and new development related to Telematics initiative.

•   Analyze & translate functional specifications & change requests into technical specifications• Work with ETL tools, such as Informatica, SSIS, Datastage, Oracle Warehouse Builder

•   Design, develop & test large-scale ETL application for data warehouse applications.

•   Ensure accuracy & integrity of data & applications through analysis, coding,

•   Work with business owners, analysts, solution engineers, development teams and infrastructure services to communicate application and data architectures

•    Ensure project successfully implements the designed solution following architectural tenets Conduct vendor analysis and proof-of-concepts for new technologies/solutions

•    Help assess the planning for retirement of products and migration plans for the functional evolution of the system infrastructure

•   Data Analysis and Architect skills •   Strong in data architecture (Data Warehousing, ODS, Data Marts, Staging)

•   A good understanding of leading technologies in Business Intelligence design principles – conceptual, logical, and physical

•   Practical appreciation of an enterprise data warehouse environment, which includes data design, data integration, database architecture, metadata and reporting/ visualization creation

Qualifications:

•   5+ years experience with Informatica

•   5+ years Oracle experience (10g or higher)

•   5+ years of PL/SQL experience

•   5+ years of SQL and Query tuning experience

•   5+ years of ETL data warehouse experience Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Electronic Engineering/other Technology-related field
