Corper Shon, a new television drama series, which aims to mirror the challenges, dreams, relationships and lives of Nigerian youths who are serving their fatherland after graduating from tertiary institutions, is finally ready to hit the screens.
The TV drama series from the stables of Stanword Media Productions and Vinesheild Ltd set in a suburb town in south west Nigeria, stars 'Corpers' Melody (Benita Nzeribe), Prince, (Benedict Johnson) and Akpan (Sam Uche Anyamele).
Others are Marshall Mbionwu, Rachael Isaac, Anita Duru and Onyi Eze among others.
Also showcasing their skills are Hakem Rahman as Alhaji Jaiyeola; the fun-loving and decadent landlord, housing some of the the corp members  in the TV drama, his irascible wife; Iya Sikiratu, his daughter; Sikiratu (Gift Okoroji), his rogue son; Lukmon (Micheal Yusuf Micheal), his bosom friend, Okonkwo (Kingsley Ihekoronye) and Rita Anigbogu as Mama Ngozi, the town gossip.
Ikechukwu and Prince are posted to serve in the small town's health centre, while Ikechukwu is an exemplary corps member; Prince is busy laying waste any female that crosses his path.
Nkechi teaches at a secondary school, Akpan and Rose serves at the local government council annex, Melody serves in a private company, while Sally interpreted by dance sensation Meg Madu of the Stepryders fame works with the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
Alhaji Jaiyeola, a local contractor and politician in the small town is having a sizzling romance with Melody and things will come to a head when streetwise Iya Sikiratu who runs a beer parlour finds out about his illicit liaison. To make matters worst, their teenage daughter, Sikiratu who is still in secondary school got impregnated by the rampaging Prince.
