Role Summary/Purpose: The Rental Tool Regional Lead shall be responsible for the control and management of rental assets within the EMC region.

Essential Responsibilities:

Reporting to the EMC Regional Rental Manager and the Regional Services Manager, he/she will be responsible for:

•   Identifying future Rental customer requirements and consolidating this data within our resource management planning tool.

•   To support ITO teams during rental quotation tendering stages to ensure sufficient rental assets are available to meet the required operation dates.

•   To review rental resource plans and identify the most efficient location in which those assets shall be provided

•   Managing the Rental intercompany transfer process while securing inter-regional support.

•   Ensuring our resource management tool has active projects and rental assets assigned accordingly.

•   Working with our legal and tax teams, identify the necessary legal entity which we shall conduct our business in order to satisfy importation and tax regulatory requirements in each country we shall operate.

•   Manage the movement, where necessary, of assets from one legal entity to another as equipment is relocated.

•   Coordinating the efficient return of rental assets to the corresponding region ,once the customer demand has been completed

•   Forecast, monitor and report Rental revenue by month, quarter and annually

•   Monitor Rental contribution margin, identify key variables and identify opportunities for improvement

•   Support and guide logistics team in the efficient movement of rental assets to where our customers require them.

•   Identify future rental tool demand trends and put together investment plans to support future growth

•   Manage rental tool rotation during long term campaigns. Plan the effective change out and movement of equipment

•   Coordinate the tool spares provisions and ensure sufficient parts are made available to allow high quality rental assets to be maintained while in offshore operations

•   Coordinate, where required, mobile tool workshops to allow service personnel to effect tool repairs in remote locations

•   Manage the rental tool maintenance programs and ensuring sufficient records for each asset deployed are available.

•   Support customer queries and issue resolution

Qualifications/Requirements: -BS or BA in Business, Materials Planning or similar degree.

•   Three or more years of professional experience with planning, asset management, inventory management or materials logistics.

•   Strong analytical skills with demonstrated competency in Microsoft Excel

•   Outstanding verbal and written communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills

•   Excellent team player, whilst still being a self-starter.

•   Able to work remotely from the customer operations and management team

•   Fluent in English (spoken & written)

•   Strong project management and analytical/problem solving skills with demonstrated skill to scope and analyze cross-functional problems and generate/implement solutions

•   Experience in service parts management and planning

•   Prior experience with Forecasting and Scheduling systems
