Title: PhD Assistant Position in Energy and Environmental Economics

The successful candidate will be a full-time PhD student at ETH Zurich, under the supervision of Professor Filippini. In addition to their doctoral research and related PhD courses, she (he) will have a part-time employment at the center, collaborating in research projects and teaching activities. The research topics will be in Energy and Environmental Economics with a strong focus on empirical research.

The ideal candidate should have a Master's degree in Economics, Management and Economics or a related field and is younger than 28 years old.

The position requires a good command of English language, excellent communication skills and flexibility for working in a team with diverse activities. Knowledge of German is not essential but will be considered as a plus.

The starting date is expected to be in June 2010. Depending on the candidate's availability later starting dates until end of August 2010 could be negotiated.
