ACTIVITIES

Specifically for the discipline Instrument and DCS maintenance:
•Provides technical support to the Maintenance team for equipment. Acts as the focal point for engineering matters, and provides expert technical reports to the Head of Maintenance, Maintenance site Supervisor and other departments.
•Supervises the implementation of minor modifications and improvement projects, to ensure their safe, cost-effective and timely execution in accordance with established Company standards and specifications.
•Reviews and controls the standardisation of materials and spare parts for equipment and related systems. Reviews stock quantities, usage and consumption to minimize the stock value, whilst ensuring that all spare parts are available for routine, defect and shutdown maintenance.
•Assists the Head of Maintenance in the preparation of budgets, contracts, shutdowns, modifications, warranty claims, vendor mobilisation and all other support functions necessary for the efficient running of the section.
•Ensures updating of the CMMS
•Ensures preparation (spare parts, manpower, tools, and procedures) of level 3 to 5 maintenance intervention.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

•Formal education: B.SC. Instrument and DCS Engineering (2.1).
•Professional experience (number of years): 10 years experience with industrial discipline preferably with the oil or petrochemical industries.
•Engineering expertise in field discipline.
•Good computer knowledge.
