The Regional Centre for Training in Aerospace Surveys (RECTAS) is an Inter-Governmental Organisation established in 1972 under the auspices of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) at Ile-Ife, Nigeria, in 1972 for capacity building in Geoinformatics and related fields. RECTAS is recruiting for the following position(s):

Job Title: Assistant System Analyst/Lecturer RP01
Salary Range: $8,701.00 - $13,804.00 per annum

Requirements:
Candidates should posses any of the following qualifications and experience
i. A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of second class lower degree in Computer Science from a recognised university plus a minimum of one year experience.
ii. A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of second class lower degree in a numerate science plus a Postgraduate Diploma in Computer science and one year experience.

The Officer will be required to perform the following duties amongst others:
a. Information systems analysis and design;
b. Maintenance of computer systems and hardware;
c. Computer network administration;
d. Support in teaching of basic computer courses;
e. To carry out such other duties as may be assigned by the Executive Director.

In addition to stating the names and addresses of the three (3) referees, applicants, should request their referees to forward confidential reports on them direct to the Executive Director. One of the referees must be applicant's boss at or last place of work.
