Full PhD Fellowships in Political Science for International Students at CEU in Hungary, 2014/15

Central European University is offering full PhD fellowships within the doctoral School of Political Science, Public Policy, and International relations for the 2014/15 academic year. Applicants from any country are eligible to apply. CEU Doctoral Fellowships cover full tuition, health insurance, and a generous stipend for housing and living expenses. Fellowship is awarded for up to three years. Applicants to a CEU doctoral program are automatically considered for a Full Doctoral Fellowship. The application deadline is January 23, 2014.

Eligibility: CEU is committed to attracting talented students and scholars from around the world. Applicants from any country are eligible to apply. Applicants must have a Master's degree (or equivalent) in a related field from a recognized university or institution of higher education, or provide documentation indicating that they will earn such a degree before enrolment in a CEU doctoral course of study. Applicants must demonstrate proficiency in English by submitting standardized English language test scores, e.g., the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or other substitute test.

The doctoral program is offered by the Doctoral School of Political Science, Public Policy, and International relations. It is one of the largest, most international, and most competitive programs in Europe, comprising more than 50 permanent faculty members and almost 100 doctoral students from 30 countries.

What does it cover? CEU Doctoral Fellowships cover full tuition, health insurance, and a generous stipend for housing and living expenses. Over 90 percent of PhD students receive the full doctoral fellowship. Direct Student Loans and Canada Student Loans are available for eligible U.S. and Canadian students. External Scholarships and Financial Aid Programs administered through CEU include Erasmus Mundus scholarships, Erasmus research grants, and other private and public fellowships and scholarships.
