THE ROLE
CCL has been requested by a major international oil company to provide a Master Scheduler to be based in Nigeria. Contract duration 1 year (renewable). Travel as required. Attractive daily rate and T&Cs.
THE PERSON
10 years of international work experience on major oil/gas, power and petrochemical capital projects. Significant experience in project scheduling on large capital projects in the LNG business or midstream petroleum industry a plus. Hands on experience and training in the use of project scheduling and risk analysis software such as MS Project, Primavera, Pert master, and Milestones. Collect and arrange all data and information required, identify critical paths, performance gaps and threats to the timely and coordinated achievement of key milestones and business objectives as well as implement a system to track and report progress against the OIMs in the Corporate Business Planning.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
BSc. / HND in Engineering or Scientific discipline; MBA a plus. Well-developed organizational and prioritization skills and demonstrated attention to important details. Demonstrated Microsoft Office Software Suite proficiency – Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Visio, Outlook, etc. Demonstrated knowledge of project EPCI terms, phases and phase-gate interfaces in the oil & gas industry. Ability to work within a diverse cultural environment – demonstrated sensitivity and understanding of other cultures and business practices. Demonstrated interpersonal and teambuilding skills. Excellent communication skills, including fluent written and spoken English, essential.
