The entire campus of NIGER DELTA UNIVERSITY(NDU) WILBERFORCE ISLAND, AMASSOMA, BAYELSASTATE AND THE ENTIRE AMASSOMA COMMUNITY has been overtaken by the ongoing flood.
The flood has destroyed many offices, lecture theatre, hostels, studentsproperties-including credential, textbooks/materials etc,medicinal garden, livinghomes and numerous farmlands in the area.
Sequel to that, the registrar, Mr. TonbraMorris-Odubo has issued a notice of indefinite suspension of resumption date for the 2012/2013 academic session' which suppose to be 8th October 2012.
Presently boat cancomfortably drive on the roads, if nothing will be done about the situatioo, theentire university can be submerge by water and as such buildings can easily delabitate
