Exotic, sporty and good-looking. These are words that will not be missing in describing the cars women love to drive. But beyond the beauty, ladies want cars that are compact, simple to drive and easy to maintain.
All women want a nice car that is affordable and safe, with lots of power that looks great, says an online report by AssociatedContent.com.
"From stay-at-home mommies to the career minded business women to the fun-loving party girls," they all want to be noticed in their cars but the vehicles must not be a burden of any form to them when on the road.
Men who drive expensive cars are also more attractive to women, according to a study by university researchers.
According to Dr. Michael Dunn of the University of Wales Institute in Cardiff, say, in the report, that women rate a man higher if he is behind the wheels of a "fancy motor, rather than in an old banger."
But the research, in the latest edition of the British Journal of Psychology, shows that men are more interested in a woman's looks not her car.
In Nigeria, ladies are at home with small but elegant cars such as Picanto by Kia Motors, Yaris by Toyota, Hyundai Getz 1.1 and Chevrolet Aveo.
Apart from being small, they are also classified as budget-cars. They are affordable and easy to maintain.
