Chukwuemeka, 40, and Obianjuwa, 35, have been married for 19 years and have no kids. They both only work part-time, so they see each other frequently during the work-week.  On the weekends, Obianjuwa likes to do things together as a couple, but Chukwuemeka likes to have more time to himself.

How much time should they spend together, and how much time should they spend independently? Who's right in this situation?

Emeka says: "We spend a lot of time together during the weeks, so sometimes I just like a little independence. I think it makes us closer as a couple when we do things apart, that way we actually have things to talk about when we are together.

Obianjuwa says: "Since we don't have any kids, Emeka is my only immediate family member, so who else am I going to spend my time with? When he wants to do things on his own, it hurts my feelings and makes me feel like he doesn't want to be with me anymore."

On whose side are you on ?
