Job Title: Reservior Engineer

Job description:

•   Responsible for facilities engineering input to assess additional value creating opportunities in both operated and non-operated venture (JV) asset – both producing and near field potential.

•   Gather, review and evaluate all design and construction projects including capital expenditures related to oil and gas operations.

•   Perform and review drawings and other documents. Verify correctness of design and engineering data to verify completeness of the documents.

•   Work with a multi-disciplinary technical asset team to integrate best industry practices and to provide a system of checks and balances.

•   Ensure that all deliverables and responsibilities defined in projects and contracts are carried out and reported accordingly

•   Be part of the interface team with joint venture partners and the operator of the asset as and when required so as to maximize asset value (i.e., at "optimized cost"). These will typically occur at various levels including at Subcoms, TECOMs and OPCOMs.

•   Generate detailed technical memos and presentation of the review of engineering projects / performances based on daily, weekly and monthly reports.

Requirements:

•   Minimum of Bachelors Degree in Petroleum Engineering or other suitable degree

•   Minimum of 5 years' related working experience in oilfield development and production.

•   Significant experience in reservoir management activities including volumetric, risk and resource assessment, as well as pressure transient analysis, material balance, nodal analysis, and numerical simulation.

•   Knowledge of SEC / SPE reserve and resource classification and determination techniques

•   Must have experience with cross-discipline integration (Engineering and Geoscience).

•   Experience in economic and commercial analysis is required

•   Knowledge of Petrophysics, Drilling, Completion & Well intervention and Production Operations

•   Knowledge of legal and regulatory environment (e.g., agreements and contracts, permits)

•   Must be capable of working alone or in a small team environment along with other Engineers and Geoscientists.

•   Adept at interaction with a variety of contacts, internal and external, including management, JV partners and third-party stakeholders
