Job Title: Application Developer

Job Objective (Purpose of the Job):
•   Application Developer that codes, tests and debugs new software or enhancements to existing SharePoint templates and custom solutions.
•   Has experience and competency to work on complex software programs with direction from supervisor.
•   Communicates and defends design, requirements, feature set, functionality, usability, and limitations of subsystem to the business team.

Key Tasks / Responsibilities:   
1.   Produce high quality code which is functional and maintainable
2.   Interact with business sponsors to help gather requirements
3.   Analyze requirements and design software solutions
4.   Implement and release applications using SDLC or RAD methodologies
5.   Apply UML to software development projects
6.   SharePoint Infrastructure and Intranet Web Support
7.   Assist first line support team in supporting Hosted  SharePoint and applications
8.   Impart knowledge and benefit of experience to other members of the team
9.   Handle ambiguity and manage requests for change
10.   Accustomed to team environment
11.   Documentation of procedures and practices

Qualification/Experience Requirement:
1.   Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science
2.   2-3 years application experience
3.   Experience administering SharePoint Services
4.   Familiarity with Microsoft IDE tools and .NET Framework
5.   Preferred language abilities includes Visual Studio component such C#, VB, Visual C++, and Visual Web Developer
6.   Experience working with ASP .NET Framework is a plus
7.   Familiarity with XML, XSLT, HTML/XHTML, CSS and JavaScript
8.   Experience working with Microsoft Server technologies
9.   Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server is required
10.   Windows scripting or Perl skills is a huge plus
11.   Experience working with Java a plus
