Our client, a leading oil and gas operator have an opportunity for a Material and Welding Engineer to work on an offshore development, on an 8*2 rotation based in Lagos, Nigeria.
The Material and Welding Engineer will be acting as specialist within the SPS Engineering team and assisting the SPS Engineering Manager and sub-systems engineers for all technical matters related to SPS Material and welding activities (Material, fabrication, welding & NDE including XTree, Manifold, Connection Systems and Controls Systems, piping, forgings, bends, tubing, structural elements, etc ...) performed by SPS, Contractor, Sub-Contractor and Vendors. You will be based in Lagos but expected to be highly mobile with work initially focused on the SPS supply chain in Europe shifting to Nigeria as the in-country fabrication and assembly program commences.
You will have an Engineering degree in welding, materials of NDE with 10 years oil and gas experience. You will ideally be a Graduate Welding Engineer and be fluent in English.
