Elaine Low Undergraduate Scholarship in Singapore awarded to high caliber individuals who demonstrate academic excellence, present excellent co-curricular activities records and exhibit outstanding leadership qualities. Scholarship is provided for GCE 'A' levels, Diploma for  Polytechnic or  equivalent qualifications. Online applications will be sent till 18th June 2013 for 2013-2014 academic year.

Study Subject (s): Scholarship is provided for studying any course offered by the university at undergraduate level.

Course Level: This scholarship is available for pursuing undergraduate degree (GCE 'A' levels, Diploma from a Polytechnic in Singapore or equivalent qualifications e.g. International Baccalaureate level NUS UTown.

Eligibility: Students must:

-be full-time NUS undergraduates in the Academic Year 2013-2014.

-be residing at College of Alice & Peter Tan, Cinnamon College (USP) or Tembusu College.

-have strong leadership qualities and potential.

-have outstanding extra-curricular activities records.

Scholarship Open for International Students: The students of ASEAN countries (South Korea, Indonesia, Thailand,  Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, Vietnam, Brunei, Burma, Cambodia and Laos) and People's Republic of China (PRC) can apply for this scholarship.

Scholarship Description: Elaine Low Undergraduate Scholarship in Singapore awarded to high caliber individuals who demonstrate academic excellence, present excellent co-curricular activities records and exhibit outstanding leadership qualities. This Scholars are expected to contribute significantly to the NUS community while in NUS, and to emerge as dynamic global leaders who are capable of effecting a positive change to society after they graduate.

What does it cover? The scholarship is valued at $10,000 annually and is bond-free.

Selection criteria: The scholarship is awarded on the basis of competition among eligible candidates. Recipients will be selected from among the best slot of candidates. All candidates interviewed may be considered for all UTown scholarships, where eligible,  during the interview leadership qualities and potential, co-curricular records and other capabilities will be assessed. NUS have the right not to award any scholarship if there are no candidates of sufficient merit.

Notification: All candidates interviewed may be considered for all UTown scholarships, where eligible. Interviews are expected to be conducted in July.
