ACTIVITIES:

The Umbilical Site Representative is responsible and accountable at contractor's workshop for supervision of all fabrication activities for the umbilical package scope of work. They will ensure that the work conforms to the correct project technical specifications and applicable standards and ensure its eventual fitness for purpose. At Contract Award

• To act initially as contact focal point at Umbilical manufacturing facility/design office.

• Provide a direct link with Company Nigerian based Project team and participate in technical reviews as required.

• Review and comment all ITP's and ensure during fabrication that inspection points are identified and performed fully in accordance with the approved ITP.

• Participate in weekly, monthly and ad-hoc meetings with the Contractor at Contractor workshop.

• Coordinate the necessary technical feedback with the manufacturing facility and UK based design office.

• Coordinate the needs of the Umbilical System Lead Engineer with the UK based design office team.

• To review the package Master Document Register with the Contractor and assess the manufacturing documentation that will be issued meets project requirements.

• To provide input to the collation and structure of the manufacturing data books.

• To assist in the qualification and test programmes (test protocols, inspection activities), and analysis of the results with Company PMT.

• To attend necessary audits of contractor or subcontractors in cooperation with the QA/QC Leader as required.
