Job Title: Team Lead Switch (Ibadan)

Location: Oyo
Job Description:
• Ensure proper integration of new network elements at the regions (Hardware acceptance, physical connections)
• Ensure constant tracking, monitoring, and resolving of faults using approved switch processes and procedures and the Ericsson Exchange Library at the regions
• Escalate unresolved faults to SS or BSS support
• Ensure proper implementation of change requests/planned work, using switch procedures at the region
• Monitor performance statistics, and generate weekly reports
• Ensure prompt update of switch records such as billing backup, weekly dumps, test load, etc.
• Ensure routine maintenance on all network nodes within the region. Spares holding/turnaround
Job Conditions: Normal MTNN working conditions. Local travel Valid drivers license. On stand by 24/7 through out the year
Reporting To: Switch Manager
Required Skills: Four (4) years relevant work experience with at least 3 years hands-on experience in core network operations and maintenance in GSM environment
Employment Status: Permanent
Qualification: B.Sc. Electrical/Electronics (Telecommunications) Any relevant Telecoms Degree
