Responsible for Luba Equatorial Guinea; Port Harcourt and Escravos manufacturing, QA/QC, environmental compliance, plant safety, lean manufacturing initiatives, inventory management and demand planning management, iso and intermediate bulk container management, warehouse operations, equipment maintenance and sourcing, meeting country import & export requirements, coordination/integration of sales and supply chain operation to meet customer requirements, optimize movement of chemical and sourcing of raw materials, and establishing ERP system best practices across supply chain operations. Rotational position 30 days on 30 days off; 5 days in Sugar Land, TX per hitch.

- Coordinates efforts and maintains relations with in-country logistics provider & customs in order to clear goods for import/export and release for local distribution.
- Plans and supervises the maintenance of equipment, buildings and property including new construction and equipment installation.
- Manages all aspects of the blend plant and warehouse/distribuition operations.
- Manages and directs the requisition of all inbound material and supplies to ensure sufficient inventory levels, efficient handling and storage of materials (finshed goods and raws) in accordance with established goals and requirements necessary to support West Africa sales.
- Maintains plant inventory control systems, including physical inventories.
- Meets with customs to clear shipments into and out of the warehouse.
- Manages reuseable container fleet in accordance with established goals tracking all movement of container by serial number

Qualifications:
- 5 + years of experience in Logistics or Manufacturing
- Requires a detailed understanding and multiple years of hands on experience operating in a chemical plant environment.
- Experience and/or knowledge of current materials management, inventory control and transportation functions and methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, integrity, communication skills and the ability to work in a professional team are essential
- Working knowledge of ADR and IMO regulations.
- Ability to deliver against target deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
- Ability to use initiative.•
- Ability to manage operational areas in a safe manner whilst meeting business requirements.
