  • Implementation of (client and/or ILF mandatory) project management systems and assurance processes;
  • Participates to risk, opportunity and lessons learnt workshops;

  • Technical coordination with client's engineering representatives;

Competency requirements
  • Academic Education to BS level minimum in Engineering.
  • Technical Experience: Min. 10 years.
  • Managerial Experience: Min. 5 years.
  • A relevant engineering degree in either civil, structural engineering or naval architecture
  • Preferably a Chartered Civil or Structural Engineer or Chartered Naval Architect
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in the offshore oil and gas industry
  • Experienced in topsides and jacket design (FEED, conceptual and detailed design)
  • Experienced in managing a design team
  • Construction and installation experience would be useful but is not essential
  • Experienced with offshore structural analysis packages, particularly SACS
  • Experience of brownfield projects would be useful but not essential
  • Fully familiar with offshore legislation, codes and standards
  • A knowledge of drilling rigs and drilling operations would be useful but is not essential
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • English mandatory.

FUNCTION
