SWAP stands for AIESEC in Nigeria Social Work Abroad Program. It is an AIESEC in Nigeria initiative that provides participants an international platform to work abroad, around challenging social issues, majorly MDG's but also around other pressing social issues. In AIESEC we believe that every one should live an issue-based experience. By this we mean that our programs and activities should create more projects that tackle and create solutions to global issues.

With SWAP, participants get to live through a life changing experience which allows them to work in a foreign country, gain international work experience and at the same time work towards the attainment of the Millennium Development Goals or other pressing social issue.

Developmental Traineeships usually involve working with NGOs with a wide range of purposes, aims and methods.
