2012 WAEC result not yet released... Beware of fraudsters

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has drawn the attention of candidates who took the May/June 2012 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) as well as parents, guardians, schools, and the general public to the false information in circulation that the results of the examination have been released.

In a release signed by Yusuf Ari,
deputy director public affairs, WAEC disclosed that indeed the marking of the scripts of the examination was just recently successfully concluded by the Council, adding that the Council is, however, working round the clock in order to release the results of the examination by August 2012.

Ari however informed candidates and other stakeholders to be wary of falling victim to the schemes of fraudsters.
